Programme
The Alliance Française organises adult French classes for of all levels of the French language, from absolute beginner through to fluent speakers.
For the most part classes are held on a weekday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. at our language school on 90 Fitzgerald Avenue.
Our programme follows a 10 weeks term The nature of the course means that students are able to start lessons at any term during the year.
Term 1 2011: January 30th to April 5th
Term 2 2011: April 23rd to June 28th
Term 3 2011: July 16th to September 28th
Term 4 2011: October 15th to December 14th
For those who have some previous experience in French we recommend that they take a free level assessment to determine which of our many classes is the right one for them.
In class we learn in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We focus on the listening and speaking skills but also work the reading and writing. All our teachers are French native speakers qualified in teaching French as a Foreign Language; most of them are official examiners for the DELF exam.

The courses we offer naturally prepare students for the DELF/DALF exam which is a diploma recognised all over the world and valid for life. If you wish to challenge yourself and/or give value for your skills, this is what you need!
Thanks to the AF memberships, all our students have also access to our resource centre and to all our cultural events. There are great opportunities to keep improve their French outside the classroom!
Please contact the Alliance for further information on classes or to arrange an assessment.
