Do I need to take a level assessment?

If you wish to enrol in a French course for the first time and already know a bit of French, the level assessment is highly recommended. Absolute beginners don't need to take a level assessment and should enrol in a Beginners 1 class.
Level assessments are free. They take about 30 mn and are made up of a written and spoken tests designed to assess your linguistic skills and your background in French. It will enable us to make sure that you enrol in the course that suits you best. Please note that you are not guaranteed a place on the course until payment has been received.
